Franklin Township Civic League Welcomes You
Who We Are
The mission of the Franklin Township Civic League shall be to:Â
provide a citizen’s voice in the short and long-term issues that impact the quality of life in Franklin Township; provide
information to the members of the community on issues that impact the Township; advocate for citizen participation in the governance of the township; engage citizens in preserving and enhancing the township’s history, present and future.
What We Do
Land Use & Zoning Committee
This committee is comprised of individuals living or working in Franklin Township who volunteer to examine land use issues with a perspective which will benefit the long term best interests of the community to preserve and enhance Franklin Township’s quality of life.
The charge of the committee shall be to take action on behalf of the Civic League in the appropriate disposition of land use and zoning issues and related matters which come before the League or community and to provide assistance and information to residents and businesses which enables understanding of and participation in land use and infrastructure matters.
The Land Use Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7PM in the Civic League Community Building in Wanamaker. The meetings are open and the community is welcomed and encouraged to
attend.
Building Committee
The Building Committee works to maintain the physical condition of Civic League building and to coordinate use of the community room by Franklin Township organizations. If you are interested in more information, please contact us at Franklintwpcivicleague@gmail.com
Ways and Means Committee
This committee is composed of volunteers from the community and Civic League Board Members who work to coordinate fund-raising events which help support the activities of the League and allow the League to make significant financial contributions to the community and it’s organizations and events.
